Dr. S.C. Sharma is an educationalist. He has held various posts/positions in the State and Central Government. He was a Visiting Scientist from 2007–2008 and Honorary Distinguished Professor, IIT–Guwahati from 2020 to 2023. His research papers are widely cited across the globe. He has executed a number of funded projects from the Government and private agencies in the field of Engineering. He has been a passionate teacher since 1986 till date. He is the Vice President of APS Educational Trust and also the Chairman of APS College of Engineering.
